The Asset Freezing Coordination Commission held its fifth meeting on 15 May 2017 with 21 representatives from the members participated. In 2017, the Commission organized three explanatory sessions on "Asset Freezing Regime" to the financial and gaming sectors to explain the relevant law and guidelines, the analysis of different scenarios and the corresponding implementation requirements. The participants were very enthusiastic during the explanatory sessions and made a number of enquiries on issues related to the list of sanctions and the freezing of assets. The Commission will compile all the questions and publish them on the Commission’s website for reference. Besides, in order to facilitate stakeholders to have direct contact with the Commission for further enquiries, the Secretariat of the Commission had issued official letters in May to ask the supervisory agencies to notify their sector about the relevant contact information of the Secretariat.
